Photo Trip #19: Water Reflections
When taking photos, I always look for reflections.
Shiny surfaces like water, windows, metal, etc. are particularly good for them. The two below use water to produce some interesting reflections. The first photo is a little disorienting. The reflection in the super still water fools the eye. The only things on top of the water are the boat and 3 buoys. The rest is a reflection of all the houses. For reference, I left a small triangle of actual ground in the upper right of the image.
The second photo shows both the reflection of the facing hill and the sky above the hill. The two together make it look like the hill is “floating” in the sky. The tree stump in the foreground establishes a reference point.
